A Time to Live and a Time to Die

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Every single person who ever lived was only around for a short time. Then it was all over. Whether you jump out of airplanes or hide in a small house and never go outside. No one can escape the end. So in the short time that you are here. Make the most of every opportunity. Don’t just float through your day wishing it was tomorrow. Make every minute worth living.

2 Corinthians 6:2

For God says,

“At just the right time, I heard you.

On the day of salvation, I helped you.”

Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Don’t wait until you are “ready to settle down”. Start your fulfilling life today. When you are in Christ’s care those times to…

…kill…tear down…weep…mourn…war…hate…throw away…and give up…

you will still have hope. Hope that though the dark may come, or be there, the Sun also rises. Christ will always be there with you when the darkness has consumed you and you feel like there is nothing left.

Take hold of Him who will lead you through the darkness and into the light of love, joy, peace and hope.

Here is a video that a church made to illustrate this point…

God Bless!
